Masayoshi Yasuda - President


Before establishing Agathon, Mr. Yasuda was a consultant with PricewaterhouseCoopers Consultants (currently IBM Business Consulting Services). He was involved with business processes and technologies. Mr. Yasuda was key in implementing the sales transformation of Global Business Services in IBM Japan, strategy planning for new sales channels for a utility company, and the planning and design of an operation support system for a telecom company.

Prior to his position with PricewaterhouseCoopers, Mr. Yasuda was a systems engineer with TIBCO, a major EAI/BPM vendor. In this position, he assisted with presales, project delivery and support by dealing directly with clients. He has worked extensively for both domestic and foreign companies, an opportunity afforded to him as TIBCO’s top shareholder was Reuters. During this period, he was responsible for the development of information delivery, order routing, and accounting systems for numerous companies spanning the globe. Mr.Yasuda also held a position with the Escalation Group at TIBCO’s U.S. headquarters, where he actively bridged the gap between development teams located at headquarters and field engineers embedded at client sites. 

After graduation, he initially joined INES, a domestic system integrator. One year later, attracted by the startup company in Silicon Valley, he moved to TIBCO. 

Mr. Yasuda holds a B.A. in Economics from the University of Tsukuba.
